Summit Educational Continuity & Reintegration (Summit AP) is an alternative provision based at Hastingwood Business Park, Wood Lane, Birmingham B24 9QR. We are the data controller for personal information submitted through this website.
Information we collect
We collect only the information you choose to send us: your name, role, school or organisation, email address, telephone number and the details of your enquiry. Referral enquiries may include limited information about a young person, such as year group and identified needs.
How we use it
Information is used solely to respond to your enquiry, to consider whether a placement or service is suitable, and to arrange follow up conversations. We do not use enquiry information for marketing and we do not sell or share it with third parties for commercial purposes.
Lawful basis
We process professional enquiry information on the basis of legitimate interests, and information relating to a young person on the basis of our public task and safeguarding responsibilities, in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Sharing information
We may share information with a referring school, local authority or other agency where this is necessary to progress a placement, and with statutory partners where there is a safeguarding duty to do so.
Retention
Enquiry correspondence is retained only for as long as needed to respond and to keep an accurate record of placement discussions, after which it is securely deleted. Records relating to safeguarding are retained in line with statutory guidance.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have inaccuracies corrected, and to request deletion where we have no ongoing obligation to retain it. To make a request, or to raise a concern, please contact admin@summitalternative.org.uk.

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Enquiry forms open your own email application rather than storing submissions on this website.
