Classroom Support Staff for Schools
Summit AP can also provide trained classroom support staff to schools who need additional capacity, consistency and skilled support for pupils who may be struggling to engage, regulate or access learning.
The same core training expectations as our provision team.
Our classroom support staff are enhanced DBS checked and receive the same core training expectations as our alternative provision team, including safeguarding, first aid, trauma informed practice, restorative conversations, de escalation, anti bullying, internet safety and attendance awareness.

All classroom support work is delivered in line with the host school's policies, safeguarding procedures and agreed expectations. Staff understand the importance of professional boundaries, confidentiality, accurate recording and timely escalation of concerns.
